If you need an MLS fix tonight. 11:30 PM EST, played at Omnilife Stadium in Guadalajara. Pregame with Shep and Cangialosi up on the club website. http://nytv.neulion.com/mlsvp/console.jsp?catid=1278&id=11591
Sweet, thanks for the heads up. Definitely looking forward to this. Should be an interesting first look at the Red Bulls.
Finally, some MLS on TV! Hopefully there's a good crowd. If any team is gonna get respect in Mexico, it's gonna be the Red Bulls with Marquez and Henry.
I thought the match was at 9 PM...at least that's what it says on the RBNY website. Is the 11:30 a tape delay showing perhaps?
http://msnlatino.telemundo.com/deportes esta noche a 11:35 pm ET. Let the Comcast/Versus/Telemundo/NBC rumors fly.
WOO!!! Thank you so much for this information. I need my fix... starting to get twitchy. I know it's supposed to air at 8:30 PST but I'm going to double-check in 30 minutes juuuuuust in case.
I don't think it's on at 8:30 pst out here on the left coast. I think it's on tape delay at 11:30 pst. At least that's what it shows on my guide.
With our players it's not hard finding opponents. Not only are we the real authentic New York soccer team not some over-hyped hipster marketing scheme but we're also the genuine traveling all-star team lol!
Match is happening now (as I guessed, the 11:30 showing is on tape delay), so if you want to follow along as it happens, you can do so at http://twitter.com/newyorkredbulls
So far ...a badass game from RedBulls Ricards is tearing the goats apart, Marquez is a rock & creating from back, Marquez is going to be amazing for Ream, Taino seem to be signed soon, Aguelo great goal!!!
Richards is good for a couple of great runs and a couple of horribly misplaced crosses per game ... a very poor man's Aaron Lennon.
New York's first team looks all around excellent. Tainio will be a fantastic addition to the club as well. Real solid backline distribution, something we don't see very much of in MLS. Don't care about the result once we subbed out part of the first team. A lot of the players aren't 90 minutes fit yet, but that much should be obvious one month into training. The rookies and young kids look raw, though that's expected at this point.
Anyone have an idea of the level of the Chivas players....I know they had a mixed squad as well...was heavy reserves, 50/50..??
