Game will be on espn! Great win today vs the Fire in un-godly conditions! Bulls need another 3 points on Saturday and weather should be much cooler!

Looking like 78 degrees. Might have to break out a light jacket for that one.

    Let's keep the momentum going.

The lineup will be interesting. I hope we can get Solli and Pearce back for this one. I hope Conde is good to go too. He had to be pulled out at the end of the Chicago game. I would imagine Cooper also goes back into the lineup. We defintely have options if Pearce and Solli are healthy.

No need to rush Meara back if he is still iffy because Gaudette has been solid back there.

We have had great home form and hopefully we cap off this tough week against the Bimbos. Would be nice to see Le Toux score against them.

All of you have to agree in one thing, I don't know why, but Chicago wasn't playing half they speed and I don't think Philly will be the same..... So, we need more consistency and accuracy.... Lade have to start and Miller have to go to the reserve...where ever that will be....

Lindpere was pretty quiet today compared to his game against Seattle, he's probably tired but I can't see Backe resting him. We'll probably see the same midfield we did against Seattle, Palsson is really only a late game sub.

Any news on what Solli's actual injury is?

Palsson is a waste of time and money, rid out of him is the only option.... Solli, and where you will play Solli, he like winger is minus than zero...

I wonder if Statue plays this game?

I think Backe will go with Cooper and Le Toux up top for this one--gotta rest Henry after yesterday's horrible heat. He'll probably come in during the 2nd half.

Backe said Amarikwa was ready to come to the senior team---will it be before or after the All Star Break?

Go with Henry and Le Toux again. Cooper off the bench. Holgersson will probably play. Conde will be out with a hang nail.

The logical call is Henry.....Le Toux, but like I say is the logical thing to do, but the Wizard will thing of a excuse to keep Henry away, if he is hurt I will not argument about that, but if he is able just play him and stop making those stupids excuses, he is a player like any other one and if the rest can play so can him....

I think its pretty clear by now that Henry is calling a lot of the shots, which I'm sure includes when he does or does not play. Henry was the one that forced the formation change against Seattle, he called for the Lade substitution against Chicago, and the camera showed him constantly signalling to Backe to leave him on the field.

That's not happening. Awerikwa doesn't want to sign after the Le Toux trade because he feels he would get no playing time and he may have other offers in MLS.

Let's coach the team by Henry

There was a moment early in the second half of the New York Red Bulls’ 1-0 victory over the Chicago Fire where forward Thierry Henry began barking at the sidelines, requesting head coach Hans Backe to make a substitution.
Henry did not want just any substitute to come onto the scorching field at Red Bull Arena. He wanted Connor Lade.[/quote]Lade is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. This guys got it.

He would never do that. Rafa is just misunderstood.

    Thanks for the update
Wow--what a shame, but definitely understandable from the player point of view.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Discussing a formation change is one thing, but telling the coach how to manage his SUBS??? WOW.

What an embarrassing moment for Backe.

Also, Henry was 100% correct on the call. Lade came in and gave us what we needed.

Well, someone has to because Backe clearly has no clue in this facet of his job description

That being said, I'm pretty much ok with Henry calling the shots.

Well, Pearce will not be ready for Philly, Gaudette has make a good job for Meara, so no problem there, the only player I really care because is hurt right now is Pearce... Now we have to make good convinations of players to form the line up to play against Philly:

    Gaudette
    Barklage....Holgersson....Ruthven....Conde
    McCarty
    Le Toux......Lindpere......:Lade
    Cooper....Henry

That is the best we can come with, and to all those people that think that we have enough team, I will say this, this it is the only player miss here that make some difference is Pearce, but what you see here, that it is for now, so we need that striker and that RW to change and get some power on the contrary we are not going no place.....

Wish all you want but it will be Conde at CB and Miller at LB. I think Conde would make a pretty shitty LB anyway, he doesn't have the speed to move up and down the flanks like the position requires, he'd provide almost no support for the left midfielder.
