No time like the new year to put together some new year's resolutions...

    1. Sign up to become a BigSoccer member - DONE (whew... at least I've stuck to one resolution!)
    2. Pick avatar/signature (don't rush me...)
    3. Get my drink on for the the Man United match (hmmm... oh that's tomorrow!!! I'll probably keep this resolution too :) )
    4. Get a new job and condo since I was laid off a month ago and that caused my condo deal to fall thru at the last minute which really pissed me off and I hate a lot of people at the company where I was (by the way, I hope everyone uses Visa or Discover or American Express.... ONLY)
    5. Make a trip to Old Trafford (ok, maybe it won't happen this year, but after hearing about so many others making the trip recently, I want to do this more than ever)
    6. Learn to speak Russian (personal reasons... i could tell you but then I'd have to kill you)
    7. Win the lottery (this is on there every year, one year soon I hope I'll be able to keep it)

Anyone else have any good ones?

    1. Get a date. Preferably with a girl I want to have a date with. :D
    2. Improve grades.
    3. Do study abroad.
    4. Get to Old Trafford for a match. This one is very likely not going to happen though. :(

It's not the attitude that's holding me back. It's the lack of GREEN.

And yet another man finds the appeal of the Russian woman. ;) :D

    1. Get into an excellent college of my choice

    2. I've picked up body building and WILL gain at LEAST 40 lbs of muscle in 5 months.

    3. I'm working on my game with the ladies and intend to go to my senior prom with a hot chick, and end the night with a threesome!

    1. Where did you apply?

    2. Muscle is overrated. Fat is where it's at.

    3. It's this ambition and drive that is lacking in our current generation. If more people set these sort of lofty goals for themselves, this country would be a better place to live in.

Money's not that important. I'm pretty broke and I never spend money on girls especially never at the bar unless I already know them and I do alright with the ladies.

I'm not a New Yorker but, crime numbers continue to go down. As New York is a microcosm of the world, maybe the answer is here somewhere. ;)

I was in New York last Wednesday. Was walking down 5th Ave with the gf when we saw these two guys start fighting right there on the street. Cops everywhere. It was truly magical. :D

Some broken fan boy legs would really make my summer. :D

In saying that, I was an honourable member of an Argentinian team that played against our Mexican counterparts in Hannover during the Confederations Cup.

I couldn't agree more, there's this Colombian kid I play with in the summer, in typical Robinho/Ronaldo fashion he does stepover over stepover thinking he can outrun everyone and he's pretty quick, all you have to do is pick out the ball and put your leg in, and boom, the fanboy falls to the ground. Happens everytime and I get a huge kick out of it. And they're not too good with body to body challenges either, everyonce in a while they become frustrated because you're smarter and kick you from behind, that's how i sprained my ankle this past summer. I'm still waiting to get the ************** back.

The last person who tried that crap against me was spun 360 in mid-air and broke their arm on the deck. The referee waved play on. :D

Its very rare to find players who combine the ability to read the game intelligently and be physical ontop of that here in NYC, the majority of people here are just about tricks, and don't know jacksh!t about tackling and defending.

The problem over here is tactical awareness, particularly in relation to defending. I was originally a striker, but have slowly moved all the way back, including in goal, just because I know how to defend and everyone else is frankly pathetic.

I take it the random juggling fad has taken over there?
