KC was a pleasant surprise (been there twice, US and a DCU game). Very attractive city (lots of fountains!), easy to get to and from airport and to stadium. Area we stayed in had a lot of bars and restaurants and then we could cab or walk to yet another area with even more bars, restaurants and shops. Denver is VERY cool, there is a decent hotel right at the stadium with a free shuttle to LoDo (bar/restaurant area) and then you could catch other transport to other parts of downtown. You can drink cheaper in Denver (with the altitude you get your buzz on very quickly!) The airport is practically in Wyoming and being in the mts your takeoff and landing can be rough! Only MLS cities I haven't been to are SL and now Houston (never got to SJ or Tampa but did see last Fusion home game against DCU in Ft Lauderdale). K
If the date works, we'll go to Houston this year - if for no other reason than I know the city very well from having gone down there for a week every year with Amy, and I can plan a good trip as a result. The stadium is in a total crap part of town, but the flights and hotel are relatively cheap and there is a lot to do.
You remember that? I have purged all memories of the season except for that last piece of rancid meat.
