it is my new years resolution to travel to kc to watch united in a stadium i have yet to visit...i figure this year is my last chance to check out united play at arrowhead since the kc wizards as we currently know them may cease to exist at any moment

If we can fill a van for this we'll prolly have more fans there than KC anyway

I saw New England play KC at Arrowhead two years ago. It was a great game. Noonan scored a late goal (his third) to win it 4-3. The crowd was terrible. Granted it was a midweek game but the announced crowd was something like 8K but it looked so empty I don't see how it could have been more than 2K. There was one section in the corner that was loud and had about 50-75 supporters but other than that it was silent. Everytime New England scored you could hear each player on the team screaming because it was so quiet. Great stadium though. Seeing the posters of all the great Chiefs was cool. Especially Joe Montana even if he was only there about two seasons.

Yeah we talked about this at the Hoyas game the other night. At least we can have some good BBQ and watch our boys kick some ass in the comfort of any section we want in that stadium.

My very first MLS game was at Arrowhead. I was still new to being a soccerfan, so I was really excited.

Between those two, you picked the right one. Especially after the way we bitchslapped them at home, the way we lost to them there pissed me off.

My New Year Reso's are 'five fold' in no particular order :)

    1. Getting Rob over again at Easter and having a ball!

    2. Saving up enough cash to visit my Brothers and Sisters of the Barra Brava in July

    3. Forest getting promoted

    4. Getting the promised DVD off Chico ;)

    5. borrowing/buying/loaning/stealing or being donated a Barra Brava or DC United 4 **** shirt for my trip abroad in February so I can have some pictures taken for the BB website? 2XL preferred :D

Okay, I promise to make one road trip to see DCU this year...but it'll probably be to a home game. I just have to figure it into my trip to NYC to get the rest of my things out of storage. I have to get in at least one Barra tailgate this year! :D

I was going to do the Col. trip last year until it conflicted with the US-Mexico match. If that is a non-world cup date and a weekend I will be there.

at the moment I'm planning on any NJ/Richmond (since it's so close), at least 1 Columbus, at least 1 Boston, 1 or possibly 2 Chicago (I like going there since it's only competition and we showed up in their house last 2 times), and then one stupid one that makes no sense like Colorado or KC. Unless Sirius shares somehow skyrocket then I might do more :D And of course any playoff/high level open cup stuff.
