Ok, I'm kind of on thin ice here as it is up and running but I'm certain I'll break it pretty soon.

    http://www.arsenalamerica.com/
    or
    http://www.arsenalamerica.com/new/

Message boards are added. I'm recoding the old pages so you can get some of the background pieces. All of Rick's old posts are there (and now searchable) and members can now submit their own stories (which will be moderated) and comments about stories (which will likely be a free for all).

Anyway, feel free to take a look.

    Everybody,

this is a real leap for the site. We now have the ability to post comments directly to every ArseAm story. In general this will be terrific, but ESPECIALLY if bigsoccer.com goes down.

I encourage everyone to check it out and send in your comments.

    Thanks everybody.

And a big thanks to Andrew.

OK, what will standard operating procedure now? Do we still use bigsoccer.com as out primary site, or do we now use ArsenalAmerica to satisfy our posting needs?

I just don't want to be left posting to myself someplace....

I'm about to go check the site now. I'm quite looking forward to the fact that I may never have to receive another 'server to busy' message here on the Big Soccer.

Canadian, what the #$%^? I want an exclusive US supporters group. They invade our supporters groups, they want a team in MLS, what's next? I do like their Maple Syrup though.

    Coach,

I think that it will sort itself out. Bigsoccer is entrenched pretty deeply for most people, and it still serves a great function, for Game PbP for example. My guess is that Arsenal America will be the place to post comments about things relating to Arsenal America and where to respond to things that are posted there.

Of course, if Bigsoccer drops a server, I would expect everybody to come on over.

    Looks great!

And I really mean that exclamation mark.

Seriously, this is like making the leap from monks writing by hand to Gutenberg's printing press.

Great job Andrew and whoever else was involved in the revamp.

True dat. Not that the previous version was all that bad, but this looks much better, much cleaner.

Is there a way to change the given password? Mine is something like pbx45w; not one I would usually choose.

    Password

Click on My Account and go into Change your Info. At the bottom is a password change

And as for bigsoccer, we have the links back up so people can still follow through and post here.

That's so weird, that's the password I normally choose ;).

If you go to my account, and edit info, you should be able to change it. Look at the bottom, you have to type it twice and it has to be at least 5 characters.

the new site is awesome. it's like Bergkamp scoring against Newcastle...it's like Giggs missing an empty net...it's like Spurs *almost* signing someone. ;)

Awesome job to everyone who's responsible. And hell, awesome job even if you're not responsible. Awesome jobs all around! :)

The new site is absolutely incredible! I voted on the poll but you cant tease us with the possibility of "nude chicks" and not think you will get a bigger response.

I love the fact that you can see how many reads each piece has and respond. I would encourage anyone who reads the Game Preview and has something to add to please do so. I miss alot and some people interpret the style of our opponent differently. If you think im completely wrong heres your chance to tell me!

All we need on that sight is sigs that show up after comments/posts.

You can't see someone's sig unless you click on their profile.

Otherwise I don't have enough breathless superlatives to do the new site justice, awesome stuff.
