Gunner is going to put more pix up tonight or tomorrow. With this and the La Manga results, I may need to just log off for a couple of days for my health's sake.

I think the field looks way to wide. I thougth these SSS were suppose to allow the fans to be on top of the action and not there be enough room to fit a track around?

There's no field to judge on that now. It is advertised to be very close to the action. Not Highbury close but then maybe that's too close. There's barely room for the linesman to move there.
Wait 'til the field is in with markings before judging from these pix and there is certainly not room for a track.
They didn't do all this to make it further away than the front seats at the Rose Bowl and from the corner seats there, I could have spit on opposing players at the corner flags. Not that I would do that but just to tell you how close.
Remember also that a soccer pitch is often 75x115 yards.

I was in the area and drove around the stadium yesterday, it's beautiful. Looks much more impressive in person then in the pic's. The roof is awesome.

    That is just beautiful...

Man, wouldn't I love to spend some weekend evenings watching matches there.
