Today is the day the exclusivity launch at Nike and US Soccer Store ends and other retailers can start selling product. With that in mind, I am kinda expecting to see more of the product line today (track jackets, warm up tops, etc) given that all that’s been put on sale so far has been jerseys.
Walking over to Dick's after work and curious to see what they've put out. Really want to know how these jerseys look in real life.
I don't think it is really in right now, but I know my 15 year old niece tie-dyed some stuff a year or so ago. Everything is in cycles, people, and there's nothing hippie about it at this point.
I’ve clicked on so many links lately that I’m not sure where I read it, but the “Rohrschach/tie-die” shirts are of two different shades of blue, not blue and black. And yes, Denmark has terrible jerseys. No redeeming qualities at all. Might as well save some money and just buy a red t shirt and a white t shirt if you’re a Danish fan.
I had lots of friends in the soccer world who thought they were hippies, and hippies who thought they were soccer players because they could “hack”. Love them, but fashion is not their strong suit. I wonder if this jersey has hidden weed gnomes, trolls, mushrooms, wizards, and Alice and wonderland characters that are revealed in the glow of a black light?
USMNT will wear their new kits Friday vs Japan: white shirts, blue shorts, white socks.Tuesday vs Saudi Arabia: all blue.Expected crowd tomorrow: 10,000.— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) September 22, 2022
Out of all the fan jersey's, I think these are the best-- stoked they're going into production. Really excited to announce I'm partnering with @olive_york to bring these jerseys to life. We'll have preorder set up very soon so you can rock yours for the World Cup this fall! pic.twitter.com/jeikjLOe72— Chris Bunn (@ChrisBunn21) September 21, 2022
is this for real? I looked in the store and didn't see it. The front does look ok. WTF with the back?
I woulda been with cool USSF doing something cool and modern with an eagle in the new crest, but Mexico beat us to it. I really like their new crest even though my Mexican friends don't seem to like it.
I'm sure you've noticed Reyna wearing #21 for the friendly. With the more experienced Arriola on the team there was always the chance he'd get first dibs on the #7 shirt. Or it could be Reyna had dibs being higher on the depth chart but chose his father's #21. Also, it could be Reyna just wearing the 21 for this friendly to honor his dad and a chance Arriola doesn't make the squad so the 7 is available, although I think he gets one of the last slots as one of GG's guys. I'm in no big hurry to get this shirt, but I do plan to get it. I'm gonna wait to find it at a store so I can try it on anyway. And I'm still undecided on what name/number to get.
Agree. But seeing the new primary kit in action on TV with the dark blue shorts and white socks didn't look too bad, mostly because from far away you can't see the collar thing. Remove that collar thing from the front and we'd have a really boring but at least serviceable shirt. I still like the collar thing on the back and the NFL style numbers didn't look as huge as they do in the US Soccer store photos. The team that got most screwed by the template I think is Australia, their away shirt is so bad with the collar thing in that sea foam green color that really pops out.
Just checked the prices of the hoodies and sweatshirts...............HOLY COW, $90 for a hoodie? That is insane. $45-$50 for the t-shirts. USSF must be trying to make up for lost profit on those awful jerseys by jacking up the hoodies/t-shirts.....Which, as another poster stated, are actually done in good taste.
