exactly! Plus you've got the 2nd kit and the 3rd kit where Nike can go more wild. It works for every other team in the world!

    2nd kit—navy blue.
    3rd kit—you be you.

Home kit: White with red hoops, blue pants. Vary at will, but keeping basic design.

Away kit: Blue, with hint of white hoops, shorts with red stripes on side. Vary at will.

Third kit: White, with blue stripes on sides. Main variation would be changing shield.

The important to me would be to keep the hoops motif. Can't think of anyone using hoops consistently.

Agree on home kit only. I'd say though that the shorts can vary, as long as the red and white hoops are constant.

For me, the 2nd kit can be any combination of red, white or blue. I guess if we did settle on red/white hoops for the primary kit, the away kit it needs to be a different color, so in that case blue or white is OK for me as red would be too similar. Even the huge traditional National teams tend to have widely varying 2nd kits. Look at Germany. Iconic white shirts and black shorts for home, but their away/second kit has been black, yellow, green....probably other colors.

As for 3rd kit, there are no rules! Go crazy, whatever they want. Fluorescent yellow...ok go for it. Whatever sells and creates interest. You can argue about the 2nd kit being more constant but the 3rd kit should never always be one color.

    just my opinion.

If we can bring back a similar jersey to 2002 away, that could be a great start.

Suggestion for the US Jersey for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Home (almost similar to the jersey for the 1994 FIFA World Cup)

Away (more modern version of this)

I'm guessing the only way the denim stars look comes back until adidas gets the USSF contract again.

Not bad for an away uniform.

The three stars on the back collar were a lazy choice.

Are those supposed to represent the women's wins?

I'm sure they are for the women (the WNT home kit has three HUGE stars on the shorts), but they declined to take them off for the men, I guess.

im futilely hoping the men at least dont wear red/red/blue like the women, but we should start investigating the ussf for collusion with russia.

how hard would it have been to have white shorts/blue socks (or vice versa)!? pretty hard, i guess, since they cant even get the blue right...

Well, so long as they can't beat 15 year-olds, I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

I'm skeptical. Wasn't the red one supposed to basically be the Gold Cup kit for this year?

Though weirdly, I don't hate it.

Is that purple? Red, white, blue and purple.
Well, at least they don't look like England or Portugal anymore.

Guessing it's royal blue and red, just bad lighting.

And I take back some of my skepticism above. I forgot that USSF also released two jerseys for the men in an odd numbered year two years ago too.

If this is actually real, one nice thing is that Nike will be sellling 90 dollar replicas instead of just the ~150 dollar authentics like the last GC kit.

It does have kind of a "Random Ligue 1 team" look to it.

Further twittering says it's a fake made from a concept that someone posted on Instagram a while back.

Though I have to say if that's the case, going to Alibaba and ordering a custom-designed USMNT jersey made for yourself is kind of amusing.

Just think of the internet fun you could have with some Miami, Nashville or "Rebrand" Fire kits released onto the internet.

Looks like one of those $3 Ts from the discount bin at Walmart. With just the shield and the Swoosh ironed on.
