NEW USMNT KITS & CREST

I'm with doing whatever on the away kit. Lots of nations and clubs experiment and/or go trendy with that one. But the primary kit, the home kit, that needs to be iconic, and be relatively consistent. If someone wants to do a black kit (not for a summer tournament at home, though, please!) as our secondary kit, I'm fine with that.

As I've mentioned, the one time we hit on something fairly iconic was the 2012 Waldos.

 

Excited to see Nike f*ck things up.

 

Yes, folks, the black is happening. However, the primary will continue to be white, just like it always has been. The black will simply be the alternate kit.

 

I wonder if the new crest will have the American Eagle anywhere on it?

 

I wonder if it's the same crest that leaked last year.

I loved the Waldos. They were almost as good as rugby jerseys.

 

Yea I've never seen a year were Nike did such a good job from keeping things from leaking. I've only seen England and Alegeria so far and the England one did not give me high hopes for the US kit

 

Certainly better than the USSF's current logo. That's for sure...

 

I always get a kick out of these threads. The now-beloved Waldos were some of the most hated jerseys ever on these boards. I promise the next jerseys will pale in comparison to these:

I liked the Waldos. And I'll take Nike over anything Adidas has.

 

You've got some poor taste there.

 

Adidas moving the stripes from the shoulders to the sides for all of their teams this year it seems.
