the navy jersey won't be the same design as the white jersey. i think the navy jersey will have a stripe going across the chest.

True. Just like Mexico's Green jersey only in Blue. The color of Blue is currently the debate... I heard earlier that it is supposedly a lighter shade than Navy... whether that means Royal or Columbian blue, I don't know. I personally would never change from Navy... it is the true color of blue in our flag.

A Red Jersey similar to the white matched with Navy shorts and navy socks would be slammin in my personal opinion.

As mentioned before, I don't mind the stripes in the socks, but like to see how they would look in back of the sock.

(if this has been discussed already forgive my ignorance -- well, laziness really)

Has anyone mentioned the Badge or Crest on the USA jersey?

It doesn't quite seem like the typical USA national team badge, or if it is, it is not in a three-color format. It sort of looks in the picture almost like a mini-"Don't Tread On Me" logo. Perhaps my age is finally catching up with me, who knows.

    Anyone?

the crest looks the same, but just kind of odd against the stipes. too big.

if they outlined it better, I think it wouldnt look so strange.

Surely a coincidence, playing in the "Victory" kits in Germany. Is there an escape plan in place yet?

the blue kits are supposed to be just like mexico's, with the stripe going across the shirt. The stripe is supposed to be red though, i don't know if this is accurate. The blue shirt will be unveiled in Frisco vs. Guatemala.

Is it just me or are companies running out of ideas for jerseys? Whatever happened to the great but plain designs? And they make a HUGE deal out of it now a days too.

yea, i like i guess, but how will it look from the stands? will it just lookg grey or dirty? To me, that jersey would be just fine if it was just RED with just the patches.

So I guess there is no word on a new USA jersey???
I looked through all these posts to find out when the new jersey was going to come out and I came up with nothing.

Personally I love the "Don't Tread on Me" logo and I'd love that as our crest. I'm sure somebody's said it before but it's a derivation of one of our Revolutionary War battle flags, so it has some allegorical significance which makes sense.

Check the bigsoccer store. The anthem jacket for man of the Nike countries is up. The US one looks just like the earlier leaked image of the jerseys that included Brasil, Mexico, Portugal.

Other new nike stuff is already displayed, including the training jerseys, other warm-ups and t-shirts.

The jersey still says 4-15 but that's probably availability (all of these are pre-orders) and the image should be available next week.

Do you guys really think Nike would be stupid enough to release an asymmetrical jersey?

This is a prototype of the real deal:
