Well, my predicti0n came true - the first time I saw the new kit 'officially' (besides the B.S. offer for a free one if you bought 20 tix tothe home opener) it was when they unveiled it at the MLS draft with "Adu" on the back.

I was online at the DC United store and they still don't offer them, although you can still get the lame-o visor with the flames.

Whoe ever is responsible for the online DC United store should be beaten. I mean they should have the living crap beaten out of them for being so unsat and then publicly fired and humiliated at the home opener.

Make them run around the inside of the net naked with one of those flame visors on while they get direct free kicks fired at them by the team.

You probably can't tell this issue really has me P.O.'d can you?

Time to send a flame fax to the front office.

When you say "B.S." do you mean bull-*#*#*#*#*# or Bigsoccer because they are synonymous with each other.

OK, so when do they release the smaller sizes for sale? Or do they need to save those for the actual players? Even with my recently increased alcohol intake, it will take me at least 'til the end of the season to fit into an XL.....

Any clue as to what number the kid will be sporting this season?

Unless Alecko Eskandarian is traded or has a change of heart, the kid (being Freddy Adu) will be sporting number 9, as Earnie Stewart traded the number in for his more frequented 8.

I hope you're wrong. I don't want to see the shirt tarnished with ads. :(

Whad up??? Still no stinking stars for the three championships? This reminds me of the days when MLB would sell "repica" baseball caps that were one size fits all mesh hats that barely looked like the actual caps. I miss the days when I got my DCU jersey directly from that shop in VA that made the DCU unies.

USSF is KC's sponsor, not DC's. I reviewed the catalog last night. :D

That's just not mean enough. We need to make that person sit and talk "footy" with NYR Metros for a long, long time.

That's what I thought when I first saw the picture on the EuroSport site. But then I remembered the DC e-mail with the offer for if you buy like 30 tickets you get a free jersey.

That's the one in the newsletter.

    That's the one on EuroSport.

    They look different.

Remember that for the last jersey, every picture in western civilization had three stars. But no replicas with stars were produced by adidas.

    warm up, etc...

I just posted a DCU warm up to ebay. (Cheap)
    Please check it out.
    also
I have many DCU jerseys in stock in my Norfolk VA store. With new ones on the way... I would like to be your 2nd choice for DCU gear.
Right after your local soccer store. Rockville Soccer, Soccer american, Godek...
These are all my competitors, but located in NOVA.
    Forget Eurosport!
    Support your local soccer store.

    Re: warm up, etc...

    you need a website ;-)
Do you have the 2004 jersey? Do any of the "local" stores? In NoVa I'd only consider Godek as local. heck, even eurosport doesn't have it in stock any more. I assume Adidas makes it too difficult to order. DC jerseys have always been hard to find, I worry now that Freddy is in town even more people will want them and it will be impossible to find any. Against my better judgement I'm trusting ES to send me one before March. If they pop up locally, I'll buy a few there too; I need two, my girlfriend needs one, my daughter needs one, etc.... and a jacket, and ... :) .... I saw some United stuff at Modell's a couple years ago, I've never been into a Dick's or Galan's (do they even still exist?) to see. Since I rarely go to Tyson's any more, at least during business hours, I haven't been to Matt Godek's in a while. They were always a good friend to the SEs, always gave me a discount, let me put membership forms on the front counter and stuff, I need to make a trip out to see what they have. They are more geared toward selling to whole teams, but do have a few things out for single buyers.
