Based on the clubs in the area, as well as players on older youth NTs, it's surprising that only two Texas players (based on quick scan) were invited. Should be great weather at the camp and, of course, top notch facilties.
Goes without saying that Hugo Perez doesn't spend a lot of his time in Texas. Btw, it's funny to see Perez suddenly playing such a big role after so many years on the outside. Another Amon, another Salmeron, another vom Steeg, two more GKs from the Red Bulls ... and as for Timothy Weah, dare I ask?
Had you looked at the page before starting a new thread you would have noticed this thread, posted on July 21: https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/threads/u14-bnt-at-hdc-7-29-8-5.1948628/
Actually, the one you posted is the last camp for the cycle of 98 players. This camp is for the new cycle of 99 players. Just looking at the dates you could see they are different camps.
Wow, you're right. I apologize. I just saw another posting of a U14 camp and reflexively responded. On reflection it does seem unusual that they would hold back-to-back U14 camps, the first for the outgoing group (moving to U15s), and then the newbies.
Timothy may be George's son after all: MLS Insider @MLS_Insider @JREskilson @ussoccer_ynt George Weah's kid, though? 5h J.R. Eskilson @JREskilson @MLS_Insider Yeah. Good catch on that one. http://twitter.com/JREskilson
I guess in croatia they don't care about european passport eligibility because this is third USA kid i know of who has gone to DZ and stayed extended periods of time(nava and muhammad).
