Take a look. The jersey appears to be black now and have the union logo in monogram. Seems kind of boring from the description. Another fail...

So from a few tiny pieces of the logo and 1911/Bethlehem Steel logo you're deducing that the jersey will suck? Are you available to do some stock market consultations? I mean, seriously, you're a prophet or something.

Its a fail for me because I was really into the navy design that folks were coming up with. I still can't wait to see it tomorrow. I am glad you all love it though! Maybe I am the minority.

 

A navy kit would be cool...if we didn't already have one.

 

Haha yeah that makes sense. I think it is strange that they were showing blue highlights everywhere and now all of a sudden its black.

 

I think those blue pictures were just stock photos, they never really looked real to me.

They did exactly what they wanted to, they made people talk about it. They could have put one in Kelly green and we would think it was an Eagles thing. I thought MLS just used a generic Adidas Navy jersey as the teaser photo because anything besides current kit colors would be a give away.

 

It looks like an RSL kit.

 

It's the color scheme of the former NHL Colorado Rockies. Which is, uh, kinda bizarre.

Based on the leaks and what has been announced today, adidas has done a pretty terrible job on this wave of shirts. Definitely tempered my expectations for our shirt.

I hate to say I told you so, but I have been saying "black" since 12/1/12! It looks as if the kit WILL be the "opposite of white", just as I was told. By the way.... I LOVE IT!

 

Wow. Black and White looks like it could be nice. Might have to pick one up at the reveal tomorrow at Xfinity Live. Not sure who to get though.

Do you mean "monochrome"? And I actually like the minimalist look of monochrome. I thik a black shirt/white shorts combo (if that is what it ends up) will look very sharp and would actually be a good contrast against lighter blue teams like Montreal or KC.

 

Hmm, I mean it's one thing to base the jersey off of, but to put the logo of a team we aren't affiliated at all with...anybody else find it odd?

 

Nah, not really. I think its cool that they're paying homage to them.

Yes I did. Yeah, black shirt/white shorts combo/ black socks is going to be much better than straight black.
