CCR's "Bad Moon Rising" was sung in it's original form at Houston outdoor football matches since 1999, this was done by us hinchas, the few that would show. Not only is Creedence's song a terrific flow, but as our city was the Houston Hurricanes there is the line in the second stanza "I hear, Hurricanes a blowin', I know the end is comin' soon!" which was spot on. A DEATH TO ALL RIVALS chant. The old owner had been using the old 80's song from the German rock group The Scorpions, "Rock You Like a Hurricane" blasted over the PA to get folks singing and lifted which was ideal after goal scores for our Houston guys there at old Butler Stadium. Glad to see Bad Moon Rising and Creedence has made it's way back home for Houston football.
