Let's do "Bitter Life" by the Amazing "Royal" Crowns.

Young man in a hurry I've never been - suit and tie that I'm never in
Clock on the wall that I always punch - never took a chump for a power lunch

    Chorus:
I'm so sick of this bitter life - hangin' around just don't seem right
I'm sick and tired - SICK AND TIRED! I'm so sick of this bitter life
Hanging around just don't seem right - I'm so sick of this bitter life

Soft hands - good looks - you knw the type - counting money all his life
Born with privilege and a pretty face - hard work is all I taste
Could be wrong but it wouldn't matter
Hangin around it don't get better - I'm gone!
And it's better to leave than be stepped on…

I'm so sick of this bitter life - hangin' around just don't seem right
I'm sick and tired - SICK AND TIRED! I'm so sick of this bitter life
Hanging around just don't seem right - I'm so sick of this bitter life
    Now move!

    (Drums)

find another dead end job - when that don't work I'll kill and rob!

    (Solo)

Young man in a hurry I've never been - suit and tie I'm never in
Clock on the wall that I gotta punch - never took a chump for a power lunch
Could be wrong but it wouldn't matter - hanging around if it don't get better
…I'm gone! And it's better to leave than to be stepped on

    Chorus x2

I think we'd have to do a shorter version. SECTION 8 likes it brief or with constant repeating. And speaking of that, what was up on Saturday? You guys only did about 2 or 3 diffirent songs. There's always been more songs at the other games I've attended. You guys seemed a little "dry" that night. Not trying to diss, just wanting to know. :)

  3. The way we've been playing we may be ready for "Always Look At The Bright Side Of Life" :D

I actually think we've kinda sucked the last two or three matches. The early sellouts definitely have an effect on the composition of both the crowd at large and Section 8 in particular.

Or, it's because I'm setting the drums up backwards after experience pains in my forearm. One or the other.

    Later,

I don't think we've sucked but I will comment on one thing. With the sellouts it would much better if regular section 8ers showed up a little earlier to the game. If people would get there earlier maybe we wouldn't end up with three U-9 youth teams taking up the center of section 8. The regulars end up being all over the place which probably hurts the overall effect. I think most of us were working just as hard as we always do though.

Sorry we didn't live up to your level of expectations. Maybe you need to bring your voice over and help out?
In any event, you are innaccurate, we did all the regular songs and it is way more then 2 or 3.
To name a few: Fire Fire Fire, Fire Go ; lo-lo-lo-lo-lo- repeat-repeat da da da FIRE!; Fa ure, Fa ure, fire fire, Fa ure lo lo lo lo; here we go; Let Fire go; a bunch of other simple ones too. Sorry you couldn't tell them apart though. We will try to entertain you better next time. Maybe you could buy everybody in the section a drink then we wont be so "dry". Not trying to diss though. ;)

    It's a sick joke, but...

Maybe we should sing "Road to Nowhere" at the Columbus match. Just the chorus.

you were always livin' in the red
you were always livin' in the red
you were always livin' in the red

    whoa

Why don't we just do all of Andrew's songs?

I might be alone in this, but it might not be out of order to sing "Lawyers Guns and Money" in honor of Mr. Warren Zevon. very sad.

Not sure of the words you'd use, but I'm with you on the sad part.

    Very sad indeed.

    If we lose...

    Now I'm hiding in Columbus
    I'm a desperate fan
    Send lawyers, guns and money
The ************ has hit the fan

    Send lawyers, guns and money...

    That's what I'm talking about. :)

But we won't lose, so I think it might be good to mock a Columbus player after a call doesn't go his way.

Or if we get harrased by the troopers :)

This comment is more relevant today than it was then. What I wouldn’t give to hear this in the dying minutes of every game.
