Seems like the tried and true Lavolpismo process being run up there. Bring in foreigners you dont need to piss off the players you do have. There is no need to bring those guys to monterey, whether herrera knows them or not.

Brought Monarcas, Pachuca etc to Liguillas, I guess if you do that in Mexico, you become a good Coach.

Are "Tin" and "Lobito" staying with PUMAS? I think "Tin" may leave due to lack of playing time, but I read that he was recovering from an injury.
As for "Lobito", if Marioni does indeed comeback to UNAM as they had promised awhile back, is he going to be released or is Hugo going to keep him?

It's too bad it didn't work out for Borgetti in his home state.

Is this the beginning of the end for Borgetti? Three teams in, what, seven months, that's not exactly the trademark of a good player.

Let's see what happens to him with Pachuca, who knows maybe he can make the notorious comeback like Cuahtemoc.

Hugo Sanchez new DT of Tigres?

    You're right.

It doesn't seem rational for him to take on another Mexican club at this point. For what? He doesn't need the bigger influx of cash that UANL will provide. He doesn't need the recognition and I don't believe the lure of Libertadores is so grand to him.

My best bet would be that he's waiting for the Tri job or a call from Buitre and Perez. In the meantime, UNAM can attempt to win another short season.

    That's just my opinion, though.

    That's not what Hugo said:

I don't think he will get any of the two anytime soon. I heard on espn during the real madrid game that they're already talking about a new coach, Scolari and another euro coach were mentioned but not Hugo.

True, but most of the time Univision gives us a "heads up", they've been correct.....
And if they do join America, will they play with 4 in the front?(Lopez, Blanco, Morales, Voaz)
