I used to have pyjamas just like the long sleeve one Micah's wearing. I was way ahead of my time..

On the official website it says you can order before June 1st and have them at your door the day before they are officially released for sale. I wonder if that includes overseas (US... and i doubt it) or just UK.

While I credit City for trying to be trend setting, the whole giant shield in the middle thing looks like crap. It's amateurish.

I think its to give the shirt a look... A typical place down a street where kids play football together. I reckon thats why anyway.

The shiny-ness is off-putting -- looks like silk or satin. And put me in the column of those who liked this past season's shirt. Though right now I care much more about City figuring out how to find the back of the net next season than I do about its fashions.

I am a fan of the new kit comparied to last years. Any guess when the away kits are anounced, just wondering how much they are going to change.

I have been trying to warm up to the new kit, I really have. But the more I try the more they look like something you should be wearing while performing surgery or acting in a sci-fi tele-film. I am glad I bought this year's. I never thought I would say this, but we should have stuck with Reebok.

Thats the 3rd kit. I got the home shirt this week for my birthday :) Very very pleased to have it and hopefully we'll see the players do better in the new shirt than in last years.

*sigh* So the shirt I bought just last year is obsolete already...

Time to put it on eBay as a "collectors item"

Ok, I take it back, the new kits are starting to grow on me... all except the socks. I could just be overcritical, but does anyone else think they look like poorly made knock-offs? The material seems to be too thin for the design stitching (MCFC and Stripes) and the gaurds are incredibly well-defined (in some of the photos released on the Screensaver I was looking at today you could actually makeout the manufacturers of the guards from underneath the socks. They remind me of special bin low-quality stockings one of my mate's girlfriends used to wear.

For those in the US - I used this site http://www.subside.us.com/us/store/index.jsp for jerseys. Its a bit cheaper than the official shop and its sent to the usa via 3 day express mail for 10 dollars (at least it was last time i used it).

They are low on the new kit, only XXL right now but will hopefully resupply soon. Planning to get the home and 3rd kit from here.

    Ha.

The way it's looking, I'm not paying $100 for a new jersey, But there is a Radio Station (www.SEN.com.au .. They're the ones with the singlets who look like bogans *The 4 Diegos*) who on every thursday night have a soccer show with a quiz, with the prize being a Subscription to a soccer magazine, and a Soccer Jersey.

    I'll keep trying ...

I think our new kits are really good,I always judge a football shirt by how good it looks with jeans,And i think all three pass with flying colours.

The 3rd Kit has been sold out at the City store, but I've got an unconfirmed report that some shops will be getting them in the US.

Will keep ya updated since this kit is pure class.
