Make the RedBull logo a bit smaller, and it looks good. I like the classic look with the adidas strips without the lil ball thing it looks better on the back :)

I actually think thats what we're using now just not the real one because there not in production yet..Maybe we'll get them this season at the same time Salzburg does :) Its pretty much what we have, and what we're going to use. :p

I thought everyone followed RHI in the mid 90's..... heck... it even bumped a MLS game on ESPN2 in '96.

If by 'everyone' you mean you and the relatives of people who played in it, okay.

I never knew it existed, until now, when it doesn't. Irony 1, History 0.

Same problem as the Metros' jerseys. Small team badge in upper left chest, and then the exact same logo, except much larger, splashed across the front.

Yeah, make the logo a little smaller (but the marketing wonks won't like that) and it would look OK; I like the stripes.

"put collars on em and i'd say we would have a winning strip"; I have to :D at that because the fans of my English club (Stoke) would be up in arms if you said that. Different tastes and preferences wherever one goes.

They don't seem terribly different from your current kits besides the oversized "wraparound" logos. The parts of the logos on the back would really interfere with the numbers, wouldn't they?

Oh, and add me as a former RHI fan! Long Island Jawz for the year they existed....

Interesting thing about these kits is that they are the same style as the ones NYRB is playing right now except the white piping around the ol' three stripes is the same color as the shirt. You can see this really well from the new pictures @ www.redbulls.com. This makes me wonder about all the rumors of a new kit here next year...

I'd prefer RBNY went with a look more like this: [IMG]

Our current home shirt is nicer than those. I HATE our road shirt though. I loved last season's white RBSZB jerseys, which can be seen on their site, or in the TV commercial they always play for RBNY where the players are 'juggling'.

    in all seriousness:

going with a 4 square checkered shirt with the logo in the middle doesn't seem so bad

At first glance, the size of the logo is just garish. I'm curious if MLS would even allow it to be that large.

That said, after I look at it for a bit, it's not bad. It looks like Adidas has taken the Squadra jersey template, upgraded it with the Formotion material and taken the piping off.

I'm kinda glad I didn't order this year's kit, since it's looking more and more like it'll be changed.

Number 1: Everytime I read this threads subject line, I think Zoffinger's renamed the team.

Number 2: I've started to think it would be cool to have an asymmetrical shirt, with a huge bulls and sun logo centered on the *side* seam. That's right, one bull in front, one in back. That way when the shirt is in action, shoulder charging an opponent, it looks like the bull is helping out.

Number 3: If the *ever* turn the sun into a soccerball, I'll become a DC fan.

It would look kinda like Blackburn's kit, but better.
