It was mentioned to me that Brian Jennings just moved to the Denver metro area and is very gung-ho about digging for Rapids information.

Here's to many more columns of this nature!

I hope not too many articles, I think everyone will start to figure out how good this team is/will be... We were, after all, only a goal-keeping injury away last year, and have now added some serious pick-ups. Good article, but lets let the league sleep on the Rapids...

Very good Article - Someone needs to explain why this type of article is not accessible from the Rapids website ( as a link) or published in the locals rags? You'd think with all the crap published in the local paper's sports sections, they'd jump at the chance to publish a decent article - This article contains more quotes from Hankinson than I heard all of last season...

As to the site... Because whoever is in charge of the Rapids web content doesn't appear to have "the fans" in mind.

As to the local rags... because having someone working on getting articles like this submitted and published would take valuable resources from covering high school JV badminton.

    Color me cynical today,

Fans and media in other cities may be underestimating the Rapids, but I don't think any of the opposing teams and coaches are.

Nice article. Keep up the good work, Brian.

Then you need to check out the Rapids coverage at www.cybersoccernews.com. My partner and I have been covering the Rapids there for over 3 years. Can't trust the major sites or the Rapids webpage for your coverage. Check it out, you might be surprised at the amount and indepth coverage you'll get there.

We've been in the off-season but we're ramping up this week and regular coverage should be coming every Friday and then when the games start, Fridays and Mondays throughout the season and playoffs.
