I suppose we'll have the other two by this Friday. Anyone notice what numbers they have been wearing previously in scrimmage/friendly games?

In 2001, Wynalda wore 22. In 2002 it was Vaudreuil. Let's hope Faria can return that jersey to glory.

At the luncheon, Ralph was introduced as #8, and I think that Williams (who wasn't there due to a Jamaica friendly) was announced as #16.

Orlando Perez has switched from #30 to #20.

    That's kind of...odd.

I'd expect those numbers to be swapped.

Does Faria have a preference for #22? I see that he was a 22 in metroland.

Ralph at #8 and Williams at #16 were listed in the new Soccer America.

    A preference is a possibility..

Mapp had 21 at DC and I think Jaqua had 11 at Portland. Our number 11 last year was Sleeth so I don't think we have a tradition of saving it for strikers.

Here's hoping he can match his goal count with his jersey number.

Thats who I was going for, but if Mapp, Pause and Jaqua want to do it as well you won't hear me complaining.

And according to the Fire site it's # 16. I think I'll go with the Fire site. (Besides I don't think DaMarcus is ready to give up # 7 yet.)

Especially when DaMarcus ponied the cash for that jewel-encrusted "7" hood ornament he wears around his neck.

Presumably his number with the Revs. The link on the roster page goes to a biography entitled "7 - Andrew Williams - Midfielder, New England".
