Marinelli came to Boro with a lot of hype, we paid £1.5m (close to $3m) for a 17 year old which is a pretty big thing. Having trained with him i could tell you that he has the ability, some might question his heart and work rate. He had a pretty succesful time in the Boro youth team and reserves although he only really shone once in the Boro first team. That was at home to Derby County where he was amazing. Unfortunately apart from that game, he never really showed Boro what he could do.
It's my understanding he's not a transfer. He isn't with a club right now, so the transfer window is irrelevant.
Ooooohhhhhhh. Had no clue about that one. Still would be nice to sign him before Saturday's game, though. Even if he's just a 70th minute sub.
Yeah I don't believe he was with a European club for this season. So his last club was for the 05-06 season, so he'd basically be like a free agent signing.
