new official sponsor

Corporate sponsorship is something that has picked up for us in a very difficult market. We have been able to secure some new sponsors. We will be announcing a new official sponsor later this week for our Dallas Burn. We have been able to secure Gatorade to come into our League. We announced Panasonic last week. We also announced Puma and Tide. So a handful of new companies coming into a time which is pretty difficult market for all professional sports in the corporate sponsorship areas.

I deal day in and out with a supermarket chain and the guys there keep me up to date with MLS sponsors and such (fondly recall the grocery guy hurrying my way one day with a pack of Soft-n-Gentle toilet paper because the MLS logo is now on it), so if/when I see some MLS recognition on a box of Tide, I'll let everyone know.

Yeah - I don't think they annonuced Tide.

I am surprised they have been able to keep this new Official spsonsor under wraps. Not even any rumors.
