Just wanted to know if the Nats were going to get a new jersey for the upcoming Gold Cup and Confederations Cup campaigns or are they going to stick with the now classic WC2002 kits?
Someone posted a picture of a red USA jersey in the same template. It looked quite nice. Too bad I don't have it don't know who does.
I would guess there would be...considering the fact that the US Soccer Store hasn't restocked the US WC jerseys since the Cup. I'm curious to see if they do change em up....if they do, I hope Nike makes them in XXL this time!
I think they'll stay the same until WC2006. Recent history shows that the manufacturers roll out the new look every world cup.
Every 2 years actually. US had different kits for WC 98 (collared, with a horizontal stripe), qualifiers (v-neck) and WC '02. Remember that in Europe, they get new kits for every WC and Euro - every even year.
as long as it's red, I'll be happy. but i think the previous fella was right ... they come out about every two years so I don't think we'll see anything new for this summer.
They have announced a one game "throwback" jersey. No word on what jersey they'll go back to, but this was seen at the Canada game: (photo Andy Mead/YCJ)
Eurosport (soccer.com) has the best prices (and if not, they beat the lowest advertised price) but they only have the blue ones in stock.
I like the blue ones better than the white. White gets dirty to easily. I would love to see a red jersey though.
They did have that throwback T-Shirt (People on the field at halftime, contestants in halftime games perhaps?) at the Canada game. I was under the impression it was just going to be a T-Shirt eventually for sale and not a jersey to be worn by the Nats, but I could be mistaken.
It's Billy Mays, here, for the new US National Team Shirt. Buy one now for the low, low price of just $19.99, which is just half of the regular retail price, and we'll throw in not just one, but two of the super-squeegies, and the 9 oz bottle of oxy-clean, for free! That's a $79 value, for just $19.99!
dude that was hillarious. Billy Mayes should be in charge of marketing for the USMNT i'd buy anything from that guy. anything.
I'm surprised no one has pimped Billy Mays as an MLS investor yet. Without him, we might not have FSW, and only a man that sell you something worth $100 for $19.95 could figure out how to get Zidane, Beckham, and Ronaldo on a single MLS team under the salary cap. I hope people realize I'm being sarcastic.
I got mine off of www.soccerfans.com It's $70 like most places but free shipping and they get it out to you pretty quickly.
