Sometimes the better nickname is the one that the owner of has a distinct dislike for, but then becomes favorable for use by those around him/her precisely because it has this edge to it.
How about the player who is on the cusp of getting his team into champions league contention. Roma continues to ascend into the top of the Serie A with bradley starting each match. 90 minute man at a top top club. awesome stuff.
I kind of like MB90. If I remember correctly, it started a few years ago as a derisive, negative nickname, mocking MB's regular inclusion for the Nat's under BB. But now that the guy is going 90s regularly for Roma and Zeman, and for Klinsi, I think MB90 takes on and edgy, yet positive spin.
Whatever people were screaming most when he banged that shot off the inside of the post against Russia.
Actually in my house it was more like "HO...sheeiit!" Seems like a pretty dirty trick to play on a guy who's already had to put up with total strangers calling him Mikey for the last few years.
Because of his and his father's eyes my son called him a death-eater (from Harry Potter). Sort of fits the way he plays with the occasional hard play and that look rarely changes.
This is what he's referred to quite often over on the Roma board. Poor game for Mike today against his former club unfortunately. Worse game from the ref though
