I have it. It's incredible. If you like Mezzanine then you won't be disappointed. I believe it comes out officially a week tomorrow.

Mezzanine was the most under rated CD. I dug it a lot can't wait to pick their new CD. Are they still as dark as ever?

Oh yea...thank god. It's incredible. More in line with Mezzanine than Protection or Blue Lines.

And yea, Mezzanine is, to me, not only the most underrated record of the 90's, but probably in the top ten of the 90's.

I've heard about 3 or four tracks and they all sound great. Pretty impressive since Del Naja is the only remaining original member.

I think I would put Mezzanine in my top ten of all time -- really.

Looking forward to the new stuff. What's the new CD called?

I got it too, it is pretty good. I've listened to three times already. I like Sinead O'Connor's vocals on this album. She does on 100th Window what Liz Fraser did on Mezzanine.

I definitely agree with the sentiment that it is pretty close to Mezzanine sonically. The main difference I think is that this one is a bit more mellow. There are none of the loud guitar parts that popped up on some of the tracks of Mezz.

What I've read is that he's the only one who did this record, but that they're having another one come out this summer that will have both remaining members contributing. Two Massive Attack LP's in one year?? Take it with a grain of salt.

Bottom line-- apparently, there are still two original members.

    New Massive Attack?

The thread title lead me to believe this was about Manchester City's new massive attack of Anelka and Fowler
