Not really up on my kits or interested in them but read elsewhere that whilst most shops/online stores/whatever have many kits of other teams listed as being "06/08" ours was being listed as "06/07" in a lot of places.

It was marketed as a '50 years since the Busby Babes won the league' kit too so wouldn't be that surprsied to see it changed after one season, much like Arsenal for their last season at Highbury.

I can't post here without mentioning the Glazers but I guess they'd like it changed again as well. :p

Edit: Didn't see that up there^ took me too long to type.

I really hope the next design can come anywhere near this one, this one was absolute masterclass, my favorite since being a fan.

If that kit from the screencap above is for real...it almost looks like a training/warmup jersey.

Don't really know how you can say that.. I mean, sure it's red, but apart from that they are not very similar at all.

Like I said, it looks like a training kit.

Come on Nike, you can do better than that.

Our red home and white away kits are, IMO, the classiest in the Premiership this season. As for the blue/red kit, that one can't be retired fast enough.

Saw that Rooney pic on the Caf... meh. In the pic I saw, it was actually two-toned, with half being a darker red. Sort of like the goalkeeper jersey this season. Hopefully its not the actual design.

The thing is though the next Nike Template will be out for 2008 since the Euro's are then...So the next major template will be out then so the kit for next year will be the same as the current one just a modified crest.

I agree 100%, this season's kits are the best in the league. Except the blue one, which is just pathetic. I'm a black 3rd kit person.

I have the red kit, but I think I'll get myself one of the white ones as well, thinking either Scholes or Ole on the back. It's just class: celebrating 50 years since the Babes, and the year we got our trophy back! And both kits are just amazing, I can't believe some people don't like the United crest on a shield-shaped badge, it's fantastic to me.

As for the design above: I'd have to take a closer look but from that it just looks like a £4 red sweatshirt with the AIG, United and Nike emblems attatched. I am, however, more for the old-schoolish kits than the over-the-top designs of modern kits (eg our last one).

Don't mind it. Simple and clean. No stupid faux collars, ala Livershite. It won't be the design but it would be ok. As for this years kits, the blue one must die, I'm not a big fan of the red and the white is absolute class.

the more simple the home strip the better in my opinion. and i hope they keep the white jersey for next year since i think it looks fantastic.

Love it. That's exactly what I was stumping for last year. Simple is best.
