San Diego start the New season with New coach and New Logo.. (click on logo to see it on the WUSA site)
I do not think that it is an improvement. It also appears on the brochure that was sent out concerning tickets. But the regular logo is still at the top of the team's own website.
New logo news Hello, We revamped the logo to try to update it and really to lose the eagle. No one really got what the eagle meant and neithre did we. We dropped the lines in the word "Spirit" to make it jump out a little more. We still had to work within the WUSA guidelines, so it could not be a radical change. We believe that the new mark will be really accepted and it really does look better on apparel and the uniforms.
