Ok----After watching the Game against DC and NY/NJ, it is apparent, that without an attacking midfield we are in trouble and are leaving our forwards no opportunities to attack..Here's my linup for nexxt game-- ------Carrieri------ZiZi--------------- ----------Spencer------------------- Chung---------Pablo--------Henderson/Crawford Rizo-----Fraser-----Stewart------Hast ------------GK(of your choice)-------------- Reasons: Spencer--Is tough, can hold the ball, can distribute is quick, and can shoot from the mid-field Zizi-Carrieri--ZiZi give you a target player in the box and a Carrieri gives you a quick attacking through ball player Chung---Better at attacking from the left side Henderson/Crawford--Either one of these players can attack from the this position..Crawford is not a True back Defender Rizo---Natural position is Defense Stewart/Fraser/Hart--have been pretty solid GK---Neither have been that impressive. We need to stick to this line-up for the next 5-6 games and get some cosistency in the attack... My 2 cents wort !!!!!!!!!!!
"We are looking for another player and a key part of that player is someone who can take charge of the ball. This player will certainly be a midfielder." ______________________________________________________________________________________ Hankinson should go back to some of his previous quotes. Awhile ago he was stating that he didn 't want another pibe. "Everyone would take charge of the midfield. That everyone would weave in and out.". If he wants one person as attacking midfield then he should state the midfielders roles. He has players on this team who have played attacking mid. He does not discuss tactics, game situations etc. with his players. The only thing wrong with this team is the coach. Instead of coaching he thinks he will "discover" the utimate player who will turn things around. He has all the talent right now on this team who can take charge of the ball. He just hasn't communicated anything that he wants. He just looks to blame.
