The Tottenham stores seems to be trying to give away the currents kits at 10 quid, does this mean new shirt designs / (please god) a new sponsor for the shirts other than Kappa?

I don't mind the Thomson but I just think KAppa throws too much of it's Italian femininity into their Jerseys. Looks like a bunch of Metrosexuals running around out there.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand, anyone heard anything on new kits?

Yep, new kit is due this summer. It's every 2 years they have a homekit renewal. As far as I'm aware it will still be Kappa, and definitely still Thomson.

I agree with you Joser, I hate the way the Kappa shirts look and I wish they'd change uniform manufacturers. Unfortunately, they've re-upped their contracts with both Kappa and Thomson, so while it'll be a little different, I expect the wet-suit look to be much the same. :(

Having seen them live, ahem, on numerous occasions, I have to say they look good on the pitch. They only look bad on a beer gut.

Agreed. They kits look nice on well fit players and skinny Italian Boys but I'm a former linebacker with a penchant for Guiness and Ale, so they don't fit me so flattering like. Would have loved to see Neville Southall or someone like that in a Kappa uniform.

Actually, I detest the way they look on a fit person. But they look absolutely horrible on an unfit person. But regardless, that's what we've got. Honestly, if they weren't so wet-suit looking I'd buy one, but I just cannot see myself ever wanting to put it on.

It's tough wearing the current Spurs shirt around "non-soccer" people....... Somebody always has to make a "nice tight soccer jersey" comment. I was hoping they would dump Kappa, but oh well- I guess I'm a glutton for punishment anyway being a Spurs fan.

Any word on the amount of Totenham Kappa jerseys that are sold? Maybe if the supporters stop buying those horrible Kappa wet suits, Tottenham would go with another kit maker?

Agreed.... Don't even get me started on the baby blue away shirts. Has one person actually bought one of those? I've been to North London, and North London, ain't fokin' Milan.

I don't like the Kappa shirts either. The blue and purple ones are horrid, the black players like Mabizela and Defoe totally don't suit them - i liked the dark blue and black away shirt.

I don't actually own a Spurs shirt anymore, did have the older ones. 87/88, 89/90 and 90/91 and then the purple Klinsmann one and the white Adidas one (which was lovely!) then the round neck one after that.

But since Kappa came in, i don't touch them.

I'd prefer adidas back, and a style similar to Milan or Real Madrid's. Even if it does have that mincey zip.

    LOL.
Ditto the black and blue one. I own one. The white one looks like Bolton's, the sky blue like Coventry's, and the purple one looks like pyjamas.

Maybe the huge price cut is because no-one is buying the tops? They just look awful, and many Spurs fans in the ground wear the old ones.

Joe E, you from Muswell Hill? I work up the road in Highgate.

See, I disagree. I like the Kappa kits, and hope to see something similar this summer. Yeah, they're a little tight, but buy a size larger than usual, and it looks good. Unless you're flabby, them you look like a woman, in which case you should probably get on with some match play for fitness anyway.

Welcome to the board Clean Sheet! I agree with you, although they are a tad bit form fitting they do look pretty sharp... and if you are flabby, they're called sit-ups people. :D

Opposite the Jaguar garage, in the Haringey Magistrates Court on Bishops Road. If you ever see a white bloke in a yellow shirt chasing someone down the road, it's me.

They're not. Kappa are making them again. There was a pic of the three new ones in the back of the last matchs programme. They're called "Kombat" by Kappa.

    Home: white
    Away 1: yellow/navy
    Away 2: navy

yeah, i have to say i was under the impression kappa were still making them. i 've heard nothing about hummel. i like the sound of a yellow and blue away kit as the main one. we havn't had one since the hewlett packard one. (my brother had it with "fox 7" on the back lol)

There was a pic on spurs community but at the request of the club, it was removed. Patience.

If it's yellow and it's Kappa, I ain't going near it. Spurs are going to look like a bunch of Italian bannans now.

He should grow his hair. Then he'd look like Pat Jennings in the 70's!
