You can take a look at the new kit here : http://www.shopcreator.com/mall/Wolves/customerimages/products/GPS_20J.jpg Chaucer Consulting are the new sponsors. Sorry, don't like it. Naff shirt, naff nomark sponsor. Looks like the kinda kit Third Division teams wear. Cas.
Yeah the Doritos logo was.... not my cup of tea. I like the older jerseys with the Goodyear on them. This new one, I still have to get used to.
The kit deal is for two years I believe, as is the sponsorship. I don't think Chaucer could afford to sponsor Wolves long-term if they were promoted back to the Premier; their turnover is only £20million a year. Altogether, the shirt has already bought in £4million to the Wolves coffers (2million shirt deal, 2million sponsorship deal)
4 millin pounds, well that helps. So when Wolves make it back up next year they will still have the deal with Chaucer in effect.
I've wanted to purchase a jersey, but couldn't do it with the Doritos on the front. Where can the new ones be bought? Yabo
MUCH better than that horrible, tacky Doritos logo. I prefer minimalist sponsors whose logos don't turn the shirts into loud, crazy-looking eyesores. The Doritos shirts were probably the worst sponsor logos in the Premiership this past season.
I think they ae going on sale in mid June. Someone will post it here when it happens. I need to find out myself where to purchase a jersey. It is tough to find any out in the US.
Ask and ye shall recieve... You can pre-order the home shirt only at this point from the club store online. (http://www.shopcreator.com/mall/productpage.cfm?store=wolves&productid=gps_20) Launch date is "early June" according to the store, and there is no info yet on the away shirt. Sizes do run up to XXXL. Looks like you can get the whole thing bought and shipped to the States for £50 (About $90)
The away kit is now available for pre-order, with a ship date sometime in August. Same detalis as the home kit. You can see the shirt here: http://www.shopcreator.com/mall/productpage.cfm?store=wolves&productid=GPS_22&did=36559 You can also get names and numbers on the shirts as well. Picking anyone off the squad will run you £5-13, depending on the name. (Ince won't be too much, Kachloul would run you £13. Go figure) And, if you are the true optimist (or sadist) you can get Premier League badges on the shirt for an additional £3. Nationwide (Coca-Cola?) league badges are not available, as of yet.
Cool thank you again. I wonder why the players name and number badges are priced differently, I would think they would all be similar.
Now that Goodyear is turning a profit again, perhaps the company will reappear on the shirt in two years, or should Wolves get back to the top flight.
