Nice to see the price includes VAT and the shipping is in pounds.

That jersey looks so much better with out the FC Dallas on the front. If you get one without a number and name on the back it is going to look hidious though. I am skeptical about it looking good even with a number.

Here is the front of the away.

Yeah, the backs going to have to get a number to look half decent. Otherwise, A+

The back looks terrible. Even a name and number won't salvage it. No way I am coughing up $90 on one of these!

They should have kept the backs red instead of white. That would look better.

The replicas are only $75. The authentic are $90. You could probably get one through another supplier for cheaper though.

I am not so sure about that. It isn't like DC where we had three stripes that had to be removed so that a sponsor could go on the jersey. All we had was a wordmark that could easily be taken off when they did get a sponsor.

that back looks terrible. just terrible.

i like the no FC Dallas on the front but, why does it have to have the plain back. this is a top league in the country people!

ps: FC Dallas FO types who read this: its out of focus and not because its low res. fix that.

the back is worse that i could have imagined. how can u be hoops when they dont hoop.

Having plain backs on jerseys with hoops or stripes on them is not uncommon. A great example is PSV.

I'll have to see it with numbers and name before I judge. I love those PSV jerseys so I'm thinking it will look a lot better on the field.

yeah, my 1st reaction other than, "Holy Crap!" was, i guess we are in international play this season. It screams, Eufa restriction for continental trophies. Even Celtic has to deal with that rule. Im sure it looks better with name and number.

what it tells me is that the black numbers will be back this year.

Now that we have gotten rid of the wordmark, I will turn my complaints to the blue stripes on the red sleeves and the red adidas sign on the blue jersey. Tacky.

yeah also the red stripes on the sleeves of the blue hoops [pictured in Thedza's post #5] make it begin to look "designed by committee" --- trying to be everything at once

adidas does have some jerseys [iirc Creighton's white] where adidas' trademark 3 pinstripes are white-on-white e.g., the stripes are a different type of white cloth

It's an improvement, even with the weird backs.

Our numbers are going to be Navy. Don't think it will look much different than the black.

I have more issues with this style of numbers than I do with their color or the back bib design of the jerseys

Although I was never around when the team was red/black, with all of this blue/red crap I wish they would go back to red/black. With the option of using red numbers on the red jersey, they go with blue. Not surprising with all the blue on red and red on blue, but these things just keep getting more tacky.

I just realized that Chivas will not have the gold numbers this year.

I wonder if the solid back is a MLS policy, making Chivas do the same?
