http://football.org.il/Archive/Articles/Pages/IFA12May25_2008.aspx The crest is okay, kind of miss the menorah, but why the heck did they put Israel in English!?! Arabic and Hebrew are our official languages so this is actually quite insulting. It isn't like we play in any major competitions that would require us to have a translation on our shirts!
I don't know, I mean when I first saw it , I liked it because of the graphic design logo of the mogen david appearing on the fooball. But then someone showed me logo from the Republic of Ireland, and the new Israeli logo is almost an exact replica of it. I am also upset that the logo is not written in Hebrew, I feel that the Hebrew langauge is not only one of the national languages of Eretz Yisrael, but it also a big part of our culture and heretige (sp?)
I liked the old one more too. I also agree that it should be in hebrew. I do like the magen david appearing on it that way.
It doesn't look official enough. Looks very amateurish, like something I could've done on my computer (Probably not me, but someone with even a little bit of photoshop experience). The 'Israel' font MUST be changed, if anything it should just say Israel Footbal Association and the same in hebrew.
I like the new crest, but I also liked the ROI crest. I think Israel should remain in English for UEFA purpose but should also be in Hebrew.
