It's okay, but I don't like that diaganol stripe. Maybe it'll grow on me, maybe it won't. It still doesn't compare to the BAW.

I would've preferred a green kit to the yellow one, but I still like the overall design. Think the yellow one will grow one me, in time.

LOVE the white one & I'll definitely buy it when it becomes available. Thought the star was a GREAT addition.

Overall, I like the design. Very professional & "European-like".

I am not thrilled by either, but I have to say that I like the white kit better than the Yellow one.

Will there no longer be "Los Angeles" spread across the chest on the away kits? It is better than "Galaxy" across the chest.

I think he is talking about Inter's away kit.

Both uni's are fine. Now the question for LA is ...what are their sock colors going to be!?!?!?

(personally for their aways...i would've kept the green shorts....just do SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN AWAY WHITES...BLEEEHHHHHH!!!!!)

This is a far sight better than anything y'all have had to wear yet. But the baldric is going the wrong way. Baldrics go all the way back to coats of arms in the middle ages, where they were (and are) called bars. The typical bar goes from the upper left corner to the bottom right when you are veiwing the picture. It mimics the baldric that many warriors hung their belts from as opposed to sword belts. Thus, since most people were right handed, the sword hung on the left hip. With the way the stripe/bar/baldric is on the Galaxy jersey, you are either a) a lefty or b) a bastard (which is what the reverse of the norm often meant on a coat). O.K., that's probably way more than any of you wanted to know so I'll stop.

    hmm..I dunno.

I still kinda like the teal+gold combination better. At least that's a unique color combination.

I would like to see the diagonal stripes design only on the away uniform. But for the home, I dunno.

Still think the teal+gold is at least better than the new color set.

these are actually the first LA kits that i'm intrested in... i thought the last couple of years looked a bit washed out...

...and what's everyone bitching about the yellow for? i seem to recall during the '01 season, we played in our alternate kit during open cup play and everyone went gaga over how much better those kits were than the then current home kit. the new home kit is basically that, but with the new nike jersey type.

glad to see the 'los angeles' go from the away kit.

i think for once i actually like our home kit more than the away... the white looks too shiny in those pictures.

that being said, i still find DCU to be the benchmark in terms of kits in MLS (follwed by NY/NJ).

That's because those didn't have all that $hit in the front.

Yellow is fine, it's that damn nasty a$$ logo accross the chest.

    kit

It's alright... seems a little busy in the front, with the stripes, the logo, the crest, the nike swoosh, and the star all in the same little area.

I guess the League passed some kind of stipulation that all MLS team kits had to have a Stripe somewhere.

and just like the Galaxy.. our stripe is diagonal.

Well, it’s an improvement from last year’s home kit, but last year’s away kit was better.

For the home kit, I don’t mind the yellow shirt, but I think black shorts would be better. I’m indifferent to the away kit, but then again I am rather tired of all white. As for the sash, I don’t care for it and can do without it on either kit. Both kits would be much improved without it.
