Saw a mod post in a recent thread (over in USA Men) that we can post concerns about the forums appearance here. Then I notice all those threads closed. Awesome. The new forum appearance makes this place borderline unreadable. It sucks. It sucks a big ol' D. That is all.
The previous threads were closed in order to keep everything in one easy to read thread, instead of all over tge place. What about the new software don't you like? What of the old software do you miss?
Where exactly is that one thread? I actually looked around for a thread to post my opinions in but couldnt find one. I actually like how things are organized in the forum home, but this is a horrible setup when you actually get down to a particular subforum. It's a tough way to view a thread list, especially with page numbers hidden before scrollover. I get the whole "takes some getting used to" thing. The layout is very clean looking, but it needs some major tweeking when it comes to viewability for the casual user. I actually lurk quite a bit, but even I find it annoying that you should have to "learn" how to use a site. How about being able to navigate through a message board without needing a map?
Bugs and Suggestions 5. Currently it is among the top 4 or 5 threads. (edit - correct thread is Update and Bugs - 5/22) I very much appreciate the mod who suggested you post your opinion in this forum. The above has been mentioned as an issue, but seems to have fallen aside. Not sure where that stands among more users then yourself, but it can be annoying. That said, I have gotten used to it. What do you mean by that last point about navigation? The structure is same, just the viewing is different. In a sense, it is like getting a new car. The roads you drive on are still the same, but a lot of the buttons, dials, and features are new or in a slightly different location. Also, what are your concerns with the vieviaility? Specifically, what do you not like?
Anti-spam prevention. Stick around a while and make a few posts. The restrictions will eventually lift.
Has it ever been suggested to have each subforum's team/club support place their own custom skin background?
