At first, I assumed that Diego was just hurt, as he is still listed on the Revs MLSNet Roster. He didn't play in the last match in Brazil either. But then when I looked at the Rev's Homesite Roster, he's no longer listed there. Can any Revs supporter clarify this?

Serna is out of the REV picture. I'm not sure if he has officailly been released but the REVs have no plan to bring him back this year.

Here's a thread that might provide some additional clarity:

"Essentially when we chose to go with JMM, we were making a decision regarding Diego Serna. Diego did not want to be in MLS, is still recovering from his injury and his return raised far too many difficult issues. He is a very good player and we wish him the best of luck."

The Revs chose not to pick up the option year on Diego's contract.
