In Sterling's case, all the NBA players were seriously discussing boycotting playoff games. I don't think that will happen in the NFL or MLS.

That is true but Sterling had a rep among the NBA owners for being a jerk--so the NBA owners actually couldn't wait to get rid of him. I don't know if Kraft has the same problematic personality? All I've ever heard of Kraft is how much he's respected by all in the league. So far the only thing we have to point to in MLS history is when MLS bought out Vergara because they didn't want to deal with his nonsense anymore after a long series of mishaps.

Yeah if he got caught on videotape twice you can bet he went on other occasions as well, it's just he wasn't videotaped or caught on those other occasions. Looks like the guy is addicted to prostitutes or at the very least has a well established habit. He might be facing a divorce because of this. Goodbye half his fortune.....hope the prostitutes were worth it.

EDIT: Further research revealed Kraft is a widower although he has been seeing a 39 yr old as a girlfriend. Possible palimony?

I'd guess that this is rather unlikely.

At least this story distracts us from the impending misery of a new MLS season.

This is hilarious. A fvcking billionaire is a regular at a handjob hut in a strip mall in Florida.

There were at least two other billionaires on that list of people arrested.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

Wait, being rich makes one smart? Can you flesh out that theory a bit, because there's a good amount of evidence that would argue for a different conclusion.

I won't be the one arguing that being rich means you're smart, but you'd have to think that a rich fvckwad like that would hire a private escorty type instead of, ya know, walking into an ASIAN DAY SPA IN A FLORIDA STRIP MALL, which is universal code for brothel.

Of course, keeping in mind The Spirit of Chuck Blazer, there may be a bunch of USSF/MLS types feeling a little bit angsty just about now.

    Thats my take as well.

Why in hell is a billionaire slinking off to some cheezy strip mall Rub &Tug? He could have hot & cold running call girls visiting him in a swanky 5 star hotel suite and hes getting a handy from a third world sex slave in a place where most of us would be afraid to touch the doorknobs.

    Just stupid.

Many of the less than brilliant uber wealthy are at least smart enough to have around them a guy or gal, or two, who can whisper "WTF?" in their ear when their arrogance or impulsiveness runs the risk of causing a royal mess. This suggests to me that the Krafts are far too used to having "Yes Men" by their side.
Although I suppose that is perfectly consistent with what we've seen from those who run the Revs.

Look, Robert Kraft's hands are tired. He's been jerking Revs fans for years. He needs a break.

I think it's time we all chip in and give Robert Kraft a helping hand.

Maybe he wanted that rush of being in Bangkok but didn't feel like taking an 18 hour flight.

Because squalor and domination are the point. Things like this are not about sex. Like rape, it's about feeling power over others. As you point out, if he just wanted sex, there is no shortage of willing partners for billionaires, not matter how old they are.

This. Having a sense about money =/= having common sense, morals, etc. At a certain threshold of disposable income it's easy to increase that wealth so long as you're not so stupid as to blow it all away.
