As far as I know at this point, at least four members of SANEB are heading down. I haven't had the chance to talk to many people since I won't see them till this weekend at the Revs game. Joe LaValley, Jon Strauss, myself and Karen (you met the last two in Toronto for the Revs game) will be heading down.
Where are you guys staying? idk if I'm going to make it....If ew need a result after the Honduras matchday then I'll probably figure out a way to escape my prior committments!
to clarify, a bus from both of those areas with 50+ people in each. Wednesday game screwed some regions out of attending this game
I was going to take Amtrak, which has trains leaving DC after the game. Instead of worrying about a hotel, sleeping on the train home. Obviously the plan fell through.
I'm still a maybe, my work and financial situation aren't working in my favor right now. Brad, if you haven't booked a flight yet there are cheap flights on Southwest and USAir from Bradley to BWI.
Yea I got my flight for $119 round trip with taxes etc. Staying at my sisters down in DC so it's a fairly cheap trip for me.
I think I may end up at this game. The parents for some reason want to get out of the house and mentioned going to DC, so this gave me to opportunity to pack in this game with a trip to our nations capital, everyone wins! What's the situation on supporter section tickets? Any extras going to be floating around the tailgates?
I am going, but I need a ticket at this point. Also the person I was suppose to stay with has to go out of town so I am looking for a place to stay!
Is there any word about the night before festivities yet? Or is everything just going to the AO night before gathering? What about for the tailgate? Now I see why Monty is taking a bigger role with SA as AO seem to be much more organized. Then again I don't get to read these boards that much so that might be the wrong perception I picked up.
Unfortunately those that are trying to put together the DC Brigade aren't up to speed yet, so they haven't been able to put together much. I'm hoping to hear from them tonight as to plans, if there are any. Revsrock ... call me if you still need a ticket...
The Screaming Eagles have invited Sam's Army to join them for the tailgate this weekend, so I suppose that's where we'll be.
Excuse my ignorance but where do the screaming eagles tailgate? I'm sure it won't be hard to find anyway. I went down to the US vs Honduras qualifier in 2001 and you can walk around the stadium ground fairly quickly. Hopefully this game we get more US support then we did for that game!
They tailgate in Lot 8, which is near the southeast entrance of the stadium. Check your email as well, I am now in for the game.
