If this sponsorship with Nike is the truth here is a very, very interesting window for MLS to keep a few marquee players, esp. US nats or big foreign drawing cards. I wonder how much truth there is to this and if it will be a way around the cap league wide? JIM DOW
FYI Revs Twellman announcement made the Channel 7 (WHDH) 11 PM news with Gene Lavanchy. Also, I flipped by ESPN last night and on the ticker (if that's what you call it) saw "MLS - Fire trade Josh Wolff to the Kansas City Wizards" (I believe it said for a 2004 draft pick.) Didn't see if they also announced the Twellman deal. I love seeing MLS info crawl across the screen.
