I've heard that a new Daft Punk LP is coming out shortly, but I can't find anything about it in cyber space. Does anyone have any idea if this is true or not??
I couldn't find anything about a new album, either, though I would be excited if one were coming out. All I could find is that they recently did the score for an animated movie (called 'Interstella 5555'), working in collaboration with a famous Japanese animator. From the description, the soundtrack for the hour-long cartoon is based around some of the music from their last album, 'Discovery.' You've probably already been there, but their website (www.daftpunk.com) just had some looped flash animation of some robot heads or something, and no other information at all.
