hello all, i was thinking of getting some new boots while i was in France this month. Here is a list of things I do not want:
    1 white shoes
2 weird colors (bright green or orange etc.)
3 $100+ (im not made of money)
4 Skinny feet (i have them)
    5 Quality
6 the long and skinny studs (im dumb but i dunno wut they are called, spikes??)
7 the swerve style laces, as in the total 90
8 if there is a good soft ground boot u think i should know about, include it.

i am making this list because i have heard the prices in Europe are nearly half what they are in the US. Thanx guyz for any help. Ben

    You don't want quality?
I'd go for copas or puma kings. They're wider, the rounder studs, last forever, feel great, everything you want.

This is not really true anymore. The dollar is very weak and the introduction of the Euro has raised prices considerably. Shoes were a bargain a few years ago, not now.

The shoes at Samaritaine, near Pont Neuf in Paris, were about the same price as Eurosport.

At best you might pay 70% of what the shoes would from a US store, assuming you get sales tax refunded. But, figure in the hassle of taking them home, dealing with a salesperson who may not speak English, and the 10% discount you'd get at Eurosport, and it's just not worth your vacation time.

I was all over Europe for four months and eventually decided it'd be much cheaper and easier to buy the shoes I wanted (Manias) off Ebay for $120.
