Hey, guys! I just published my first ebook on Amazon. It is about my first year in Iraq (2003-2004), and it has a lot of mentions about soccer in it. It's more than a "There I was" book. Each chapter is a different story and many of the chapters focus on my former Iraqi translators and I attempt to provide the reader a perspective from the Iraqi side. It's an interesting book that has received some good feedback. Check out the link and PM me if you have any questions. Thanks for reading!

There was a soldier in Iraq in the beginning who was trying to get soccer equipment for the Iraqi kids. He later died in action. Do you remember him?

    Congratulations

My wife's grammar school class mate wrote a reg book now it is an ebook also on amazon.

It is titled "born in Brooklyn raised in the Cav" by John Flanagan

He went from HS to being a helicopter pilot in the Air Calvary in Vietnam pretty good story.
