La Barra Brava's distinctive 2003 jersey is ready for issue and the flags are on the way. We've added championship stars to the sleeve and moved our stripes around. On the back is the #12. Barra DC veterans and new recruits alike can view the new shirt at www.barra-brava.com Join La Barra Brava! DC's wildest supporters club. Proudly supporting United since the beginning and making the CSC earn their crappy paychecks each and every game. Wear your jersey on game day and drink for free with the Barra DC. Vamos United!
It looks nice! But when are you going to do a black jersey? It's hard to have a "blackout" in the stadium with all those white Barra jerseys, heh. -Tron
Hmm..would wearing a Barra jersey in La Norte offend any of the Nortenos? If not, I'd love to get my hands on one.
Sure as hell wouldn't offend anybody in the Barra Stop by the tailgate opening day and I'll hook you up.....
We're looking at making a black t-shirt for blackout games, but otherwise we'll stick with the white jersey the majority of the time. In regards to the color selection; the black ones were too hot and not as popular with members. The SE's tend to wear alot of black so the white jerseys provide a contrast between the two sections. Not that it's too hard to see the difference anyway. There are a few black jerseys around from two years ago.Talk to a few veteran Barra types, they might hook you up. The jerseys and flags really enhance our section's look inside and outside RFK. Plus we enjoy making the CSC's jobs easier!
hahaha... I'm a Scots/gringo what would I know. I just know all the vulgar words that relate to beer, futbol, guns and women. Talk to Chico or Oscar in regards to spanish grammar. I thought vamos worked too I've used both. I earned a C- in spanish many years back.
We'll bring them on opening day or get Chico or Oscar to send you one. Like I said in the first post, we have them!
I plan on being at both the open practice and the March Happy Hour, so if you join or renew as the case may be, we can hook up there.
In addition to the jersey, flag, free tailgate drinks, ticket discounts and other perks the Barra DC will be updating and improving its website over the next couple months. We've been shaking the RFK stands since day one. Our goal is to support United and all of our members.
Honkers, hooters, charlies, chachabingas, yes, but I've never seen them referred to as "perks" before! The usual "perps" should be there as well!
PSG Stunna needs to check this thread out. Metros don't need long sleeve shirts they never see the playoffs.
Who ever designed the is I think a closet Galaxy Fan Look at there Jersey and compare it to yours. Trators
