I feel the same way. I play 2/3 my games on turf, the other 1/3 on a hard ground more suited for AG/HG. I like to keep consistency in the model I buy for AG/HG I will buy the TF version also. Despite seeing all these pictures of new AG models, it's disappointing to see no AG/HG or TF for US markets in 2E sizing. I'm sure they did their research, but FG and SG is pretty useless where I play
can't wait for the new visaro's to be out as well. Loved the cushioning i got from the insoles, the upepr, only problem for me was how low the toebox felt. bloody toenails were inevitable.
I was asked to trial a womens boot that they were doing, they were like a Lilac colour. And the leather was really soft on them. The nice thing about the ones that i got sent was they didnt have all that rubbish plastic logos they seemed to like to cover their boots in which i personally thought was too chunky and didn't give you the best touch. I think i still have them somewhere. http://www.taigamek.mobi/2016/05/tai-game-biet-kich-mobile.html
interestingly, kohei's blog featured these futsal shoes for abit, then removed it within the same day. weird.
well its finally revealed on their instagram, although weirdly enogh, with barely any sort of excitement. the lack of a leather upper is kind of annoying, but it looks like it combines a freshfoam insole AND Revlite in the forefoot? Damn. Definitely makes it look as attractive as the Asics Destaques now.
Anyone know if there will be a White and Black pack for the Visaros and Furons. Missed out on the last lot and think it would be great if the do it every year
Furons. They come out in August. I think I order about 25 pairs of each colour if I remember correctly.
Did anyone eventually get a pair of the leather Visaros to try out? Any thoughts? Can't quite find any reviews about it. Looking to get it mostly because after thinking back about most of the boots i've used, its still the nicest pair I've ever had to run in. The Freshfoam really feels plush yet responsive, unlike the UA ones which are plush but sink in after awhile. the synthetic ones weren't the most comfortable ones around but i think the leather one's will be different
I have a pair of leather visaros, immediately on foot it feels nicer than the synthetic. That said, having owned and used two pairs of synthetic visaros, the upper does take some breaking in. The toebox does seem like it's a bit higher and more forgiving too. I'll give them another run tonight at training if it isn't pouring!
Thought I'd give a quick review on the furons 2.0. Firstly, I was very impressed with this boot, the toe box I felt, was higher than the visaro and the upper immediately out of the box was softer. Comparing with the original furon, this is almost a completely different boot. The upper is softer than the original iteration, the lacing has also changed from the burrito style to a more conventional lacing system, which I personally prefer. The mesh upper, as I've already stayed is much softer than the last furon and is a breathable mesh. I don't know how it will go in the wet, but I've been told it is waterproof. The upper also feels tacky, providing so additional grip on the ball. The soleplate remains the same, a little bit stiff, but when you wear it, it definitely feels responsive. I'm really impressed with these boots, definitely worth a go!
pangu, how about sizing of the leather visaros? i'm a uk6.5 in the mizuno morelia and nike legend but a puma king DI top = uk6.0 thanks!
