I believe the Spring/Summer Arsenal catalog is coming out May 3rd and will contain the new yellow away strip. Has anyone already seen the yellow kit?

I have not, but it is my sincerest hope that it will echo the away kits of the days of yore. Down with the Pepsi cans!!!!!

    Vive le AFC!

yes, I really don't think we'll see the pepsi cans again after the current season even though they will officially still be the third kit.

If not does anyone know who is?

have you tried muggybonehead regarding the homekit from last year? They sell used shirts only, but it could be that there aren't anymore new ones available.

Right, I can do better than that.

Same deal, only 14 bucks cheaper. (Probably 8 bucks shipping from the UK to the US, but you're STILL coming out ahead! :D )

And seconded on the 01-02 Dreamcast home jersey in XXL. I ended up getting beaten out on the one on eBay... I wanted it, but I didn't SIXTY DOLLARS want it... at least not this week. ;)

If the new catalogue is out on this Wednesday's game against Southampton, I'll pick up a few and let you know what it looks like.

Just received the new catalog in the mail today and page 4 has the new away kit, except that it's not being shown yet. It simply states rhapsody in yellow. Well I guess it's yellow but we're going to have to wait to see what it looks like although it states that it will be availabel August 7th.

The only info I have found on the website for ordering a catalog is by calling them.

Was just doing some looking around on Arsenal.com and found this quote:

"The blue kit which launched in October 2002 is the first choice away change for the 2002/3 season and will become the second choice away change for the 2003/4 season expiring in May 2004. A new first choice away kit will launch in August 2003."

So what I get from that is the current away will become the 3rd kit for next year then a new 3rd kit will be needed. Plus we may have a few months to go if they are going to wait until August to lauch the new kit.

After looking at all the new gear for sale on Arsenal.com I would bet the 03/05 kit will look very much like the 70/71 kit. They seem to have a lot of gear that same yellow/blue.

I got the new catalogue last night and the new strip (not featured!) goes on sale as of 7th August. You can pre-order your purchase (without knowing what you are getting. Although that won't put too many people off I'm sure). They add that no guarantee of receiving it on the day. I have no idea why they can't show a photo of someone wearing it, unless of course that they haven't finalised the design, only the colour.
I am still staggered that Arsenal's marketing programme does not appear to be as good as the team in performance (other than the last few games!: "Southampton excluded").
As we all know, it's gong to be yellow, and they featured Cup Final pictures of Charlie George for '71 and Alan Sunderland in '79, so my guess is that it will be a plain yellow with royal blue, rather than the navy blue that has been featured other recent seasons.
However, I'm sure NIKE will do something to spoil it.
I don't think that they have produced a good kit design since '98.
As soon as I get some glimpse or sighting of it, I will pass on the information or a picture.

I forgot to mention that they featured the new GK jersey. It's black over a dark grey, wwith some white piping around the neck and sleeves. It looks like some black bib (or penny) is worn over a grey top!
Last night Stuart Taylor wore a flourescent orange, which was nice, but doesn't blend well with the red, or I expect the yellow of the team.

I thought the same thing too!! Maybe, as the defence is looking a little dodgy, they want the opposition to think that we have 6 goalies between the posts! (LOL).
