I don't hate it, but I did prefer the wider stripes. Ideal kit? Home: Black jersey, White wide horizontal stripes; Black shorts, white vertical stripes; Black socks with white trim. Away: White jersey, Red wide horizontal stripes; Red shorts, white vertical stripes; White socks with red trim. As currently constituted, they're bearable, but I don't like mesh, and prefer the same color backing if you have to go with the mesh.
Death to the post 1999 Red and White road jersey it's cursed. New kit is better simply because it's new.
I like the new white uniforms. I'm particularly happy that the red doesn't appear to be mesh! The worst thing about red mesh with a white background is that it's pink, and that would really suck. Now if we could only get them to remove the mesh from the black jersey and simply make the black front meet the black back (eliminate the mesh) we'd be set. I'm gonna buy the new white jersey. I also prefer the black stripes to the red stripes. The red under the arms looks cool though. If I were to change one thing about the new white jersey I'd take off the shoulder stripes. The stripes accross the chest and on the side of the shorts are enough IMHO. But, this is Addidas, and that's their current style, so I'm cool with it. Overall, very nicely done! P.S. I voted that I would change the away kit a little. The more I look at the jersey the more I like it. And for me, it's the red patches on the love handles. So all I'd change would be the shorts to red to match.
