I realize that kits were only changed recently but after the new Nike kits made their debut in Portugal and Holland I've been lead to understand Nike will be taking these kits to all national and club level teams sponsored by the swoosh. Heres hoping arsenal sees new kits as I think they look rather sweet. Heres a little mock up I did of what the kits may look like, tell me what ya think:

    i like alot

i think the home shirt has got too much white on the bottom and not enough on the top!

but the away shirt is mega brilliant!

Erm...Nike would have to burn in hell if they got rid of the white sleeves! We are Arsenal!

Interesting. Nice work, but I don't think we'll see them quite like that.

As others have mentioned, the white sleeves are the identity of this club. Those'll stay.

In addition, the change kit won't be new. That one has another year to go before it's replaced.

    Nough said!

The away kit strategy these days is to use it for one year and have it as the 3rd stip the second year. That means we will probably see 2 new ones rolled out in August!

Where is Paddy (and others) going to put the vicks vapor rub? It will be wiped over the crest with the new kits?

Good point - hadn't thought about that. You'd think that Wegner could veto the centered crest if it impacts the onfield play.

That seems to jibe with the photo previously seen - I myself don't like the way the sleeves come up the shoulder. If they'd go back to a drop shoulder and eliminate the white bib piping I would be happier with this new kit.

And as a final thought, why must Arsenal use the standard awful sleeve tick? What's the deal with that?

My thoughts exactly. It would give the shirt more balance to have the crest back in the regular spot anyway.

I love the change kit we have right now, bought it right away, but if it does get changed, I hope it does look like what you've made here.

I took the liberty of reworking SLO's image - this is my ideal Arsenal kit (actually, my ideal would keep the crest over the heart, but let's presume for a minute that they really want to move it):

Interesting - I believe SLO's image may also be our first look at the "new, darker" red.

    Thanks!

I'd like them to go with a very simple kit, drop shoulders, red with white sleeves. Nothing fancy - we're a club with a long and distinguished history, and we should look the part. The Yankees of football.

I don't mind a slightly darker red, I don't mind them using modern materials and cuts, I do mind them outfitting the squad in overly complicated, goofy outfits.

Sorry Gothamite it's an improvement but not there yet! Like the drop shoulders, crest over the heart, but your neck design looks too much like present. Need to go back to a proper white collar/neck of some kind. Also, other than the sleeves, the current shirt is a fairly simple design, something a little more detailed, but not fussy, would be okay.

Yep, the socks should be solid red. They looked great at Stanford Bridge last Saturday with the red socks. Much better than the all white - with the solid white shorts, the Arsenal kit needs all the red it can get.

I would also agree that the neckline should be a proper white collar. I'd actually prefer a true collar over the crew collar. But I didn't want to bother too much with that image in Photoshop. :)

    They're here

Well, they seem to have been leaked:

Scroll halfway down, and you can see pics of the new home and change (blue) shirt.

    Damned disappointing.

I'll prob be in the minority here, but I don't think they're that bad at all. different certainly, but they'll grow on us like usual.

I like them too. I don't think they are bad at all, especially what would be our third shirt (the blue one).

the only thing I don't like is where the crest is, but it isn't a big deal.

I've heard that the blue shirt will actually be our second-strip, with the yellow being third :-(

We must start a petition to stop any blue Arsenal kits, they're unlucky!
