http://www.metrofanatic.com/mf/story.jsp?ID=1051 Holding out on us Dan? Inquiring minds want to know.
dan....you don't have to tell us who the new #10 is, but tell us the names of the 2 parties who met last night in secaucus....we'll draw our own conclusions
Don't tell me Tab is coming out of retirement or that Roy Myers is coming back. Anything else i could deal with.
That's the first good thing I've heard today. (Not that I have anything against Colombians, per se, but the obsession with them as saviors of the club the last few years had become ridiculous - and not a single one of them knocked my socks off). Let's just hope it's not Ian Bishop.
Or GMing the Metro. Actually Nick S. is from the same city in NJ as me, directly across the Passaic River from Vistula. When I met Nick a few seasons ago and asked him which part of town he grew up in he looked at me like I was a stalker or something but that's a whole different story...
Our New #10 From an unnamed, reliable source, I was able to find out who the mystery signing will be. This player was in the draft pool at the Superdraft last Friday but "surprisingly" went undrafted. Apparently, some typical underhanded MLS HQ dealings took place to get the Metros their latest savior. See bio below: http://www.gojaspers.com/roster_view.cfm?roster_id=140
The rumbling I'm hearing says our new man is: A. Jovan Kirovski. B. Eddie Lewis. C. John Thorrington. D. Mauricio Cienfuegos via waivers. E. Jason Bent. What do you guys think? I have a good feeling that it's Cien since he's the only true 10 shirt there.
cien may be able to bring the young guys around....no doubt, cien is one of the greats in the league but to be honest, i'd rather have someone younger than 35.... although cien probably put more of an effort in than the entire team last year
Register one vote for B. Although if I voted for D it would be like telling Metro Management to "Get Bent".
is that why you hang around the high schools??? and c'mon it's so clear who the Metros are getting...Donadoni!!!!!
I've now got it on good authority that one Mauricio Cienfuegos was listed at the Holiday Inn Secaucus last night. This is getting interesting. Now, I'm wondering myself, "Is this better than Andy W?"
