Pretty liberal (no pun intended) use of the word "terrorist" there.

I agree with Dante, "bastard" would have been fine...

Perspective, Alex. Seriously - you can run, but you can't hide. One day, you too will have to address an issue of interest to you with some form of common sense.

Your infantile over-reaction to the news that a politician is self-interested and good at working the system.

The most interesting thing about this story is a phrase in the AP report that says: 'This tactic is used frequently'.

So, it seems, terrorism is rampant in Washington DC.

he's a lump of crap. on CNN they said it was rare but that byrd had threatened to hold up the promotions of thousands to prove a point.

IMHO, the senate should retain their right to consent to the appointment of secretary positions & dept heads as well as the supreme ct-and no, there is no filibuster crisis since 97% were confirmed- but since the military is under he commander in chief, if the Air force Secretary recommends someone for promotion, politicking cannot interfere w/ national security and he should be appointed w/ the presidents approval, w/o the need 4 senate confirmation.

If by "working the system" you mean severely hampering our national defense...

Besides, I'm not the one who called him a terrorist, jackass. And at least us rightists are capable of criticizing our own (this ass is a Republican), unlike the lefties on here who will defend treasonous scumbags like Clinton to the death.

Please stop criticizing the greatest president since WW II.

PS...if I were a Bushlover, I wouldn't go around calling other people treasonous scumbags.

I didn't say anything about Ronald Reagan. Or FDR, if you meant since WW2 inclusive.

Which President sold nuclear secrets to the ChiComs for campaign funds?

I'll give you a hint, he doesn't share a last name with a former President, but he does share one with a cameo character in the movie "PCU".

Severley hampering your national defence? My, this is stupendous news. Here's all of us getting all hot under the collar about WMD's possibly proliferating into the hands of shadowy terrorists and all along all that is required is a couple of al-Qaeda operatives in the US Government bureaucracy and the US national defence can be "severely hampered".

    Dolt.

    link please?

and "severly hampering"?? look it's petty, but these guys aren't getting thrown out of the military because their promotion has been delayed. this would have to continue for a significant amount of time to severly hamper national security.
