Maybe but you're more confident than me but maybe that comes with being an England fan. I'm sure you will score though tomorrow as we are horrible in centre defense whatever the combination and it will be the Everton defenders playing so there's always a error or two there.

Even with a C team, England should absolutely trash this Oranje. Otherwise, I'm not sure what England is doing at the Euros.

  3. As Johan used to say that statistically a player has the ball only 3 minutes, so he thinks it is important what he does in the other 87.

it looks like it will be 4-3-3 vs England,

    Depay - Huntelaar - Promes

    Afellay

    Wijnaldum-Bazoer

Willems - Sonny Boy - Bruma - Veltman

^^With Huntelaar in the lineup, English defenders should all be wearing nose guards!

I dunno about that, I think Smalling and Cahill are more than capable.
Maybe at LB and RB you look a bit weak though.

But you should able to beat this sorry Oranje lot quite easily. And I think you guys are strong enough with Kane and Vardy up top to perhaps make the QF or Semi's at this Euro

I thought Blind was hurt in the match the other day. I would start van Aanholt over Willems.

I agree, it's a shame.. our midfield could be overrun as I do not rate Milner.. Drinkwater has had a good season with Leicester but this is his debut.. and Barkley is young. I Did want to see a Sturridge-Kane partnership, but Vardy is also in great form. Defence could get caught out.. Stones is a great prospect and Jagielka is slow..

All in all, there are going to be goals in this game, IMO. I'm expecting a pretty close game..

I hope we get to see Alli and Kane come on again at some point for us

I think Blind starting is probably wrong

Blind over van Dijk at CB? Lol...of course, his father is the coach.

That aside this is maybe the best XI we can put out right now without Robben and Strootman. I'm glad they started Janssen over Huntelaar, and then having two dynamic wingers in Memphis and Promes to play off of Janssen will do well I think.

Getting a result for me is secondary. I just want to see some positive play from this team. The right players have been picked for the most part, for once.

For the record if I were to change the team a bit I would move the triangle in midfield around, have van Dijk start at CB and Blind take Bazoer's spot as DM.

    Memphis - Janssen - Promes
    Wijnaldum - Afellay
    Blind
Willems - van Dijk - Bruma - Veltman

This is actually a fun lineup.
I feel kind of bad for Huntelaar.. RVP finally out and he still can't get a start.
